Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine how Point of Sale (POS) affects operational efficiency at Bolu Salak Kenanga in implementing POS technology. The use of POS technology is a more efficient way of managing sales transactions. By using POS technology, businesses can improve their operational efficiency, enhance the customer experience, and make strategic decisions based on accurate and detailed data. Operational efficiency is the ability of an organization or company to use resources in the most effective way to achieve desired goals. This involves identifying and implementing best practices to reduce waste, increase productivity, and maximize results at lower costs. Based on the title above, data processing in this study used the Simple Linear Regression Analysis method, followed by hypothesis testing using the t-test, with a significance level of α = 0.050. The results of the study yielded a calculated t-value of 4.475 and a table t-value of 2.30600, such that the calculated t-value is greater than the table t-value. Therefore, Ho is rejected. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is an influence of POS Technology Use on Operational Efficiency in the Kenanga Salak Cake Business. The POS Technology Use variable can influence the Operational Efficiency variable by 26.4%. Meanwhile, the remaining 73.6% can be explained by other variables not studied in this research
