Abstract

Abstract Villages are used as development subjects because villages are identical to limitations in various fields. To overcome this, community participation in development is very important to overcome this. Community participation is a key element in realizing sustainable and inclusive village development. The purpose of this study is to see the factors that influence the level of community participation so that they are more active in village development in Rimba Soping Village. This research method is descriptive qualitative. The informants of this study were village officials and the Rimba Soping village community. The data collection technique for this study was through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique was through data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the level of community participation can be influenced by the leadership of the village head, openness of information and social trust in the community. Efforts to increase community participation in development can be carried out through collaboration between village officials and the community at every stage of development. By increasing community participation, village development becomes more targeted, efficient and sustainable.
