PERANAN DINAS KEPENDUDUKAN DAN PENCATATAN SIPIL KABUPATEN TAPANULI SELATAN DALAM PELAYANAN PEMBUATAN E-KTP
Abstract
Based on the author's observations, there are problems, namely public complaints about ineffective services in making E-KTP and changes in making Digital E-KTP, thus hindering the public in the process of making E-KTP. This study aims to determine the role of the Population and Civil Registration Office of South Tapanuli Regency in making E-KTP. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. Informants in this study were employees at the Population and Civil Registration Office of South Tapanuli Regency and the community who are currently issuing E-KTP. Data collection was carried out using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The making of E-KTP at the Population and Civil Registration Office of South Tapanuli Regency is generally in accordance with applicable procedures. The obstacles faced include an unstable server. Suggestions in this study are to add supporting facilities, for example by facilitating waiting rooms with additional seating.
