Abstract

Pargarutan Dolok is a village whose main livelihood is farming. The village is dominantly coffee farmers. Service activities in the village with the aim of solving a problem in coffee plants belonging to farmers. The coffee has been attacked by pests and when chemical compounds are used, the pests that appear have experienced resistance, so natural compounds are needed. The use of biological agents, namely Beauveria bassiana, is very good to use because it has a function in suppressing the population of Plant Pest Organisms (OPT) to a level that is not economically detrimental, thus production remains at a high level. Through this community service activity, it can be useful in using Beauveria bassiana as a biological agent in sustainable agriculture.
