Abstract
This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of agricultural extension workers' performance in increasing farmer productivity in Simatohir Village, Padangsidimpuan Angkola Julu District, Padangsidimpuan City. Data were collected from 31 farmers through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that the frequency of extension had the most significant effect on increasing productivity, followed by satisfaction with extension services, understanding of modern agricultural practices, and quality of extension. The R-squared value of 0.3369 indicates that 33.69% of the variation in productivity is explained by the model. This finding emphasizes the importance of the sustainability of extension frequency and quality to support local agricultural performance.
