PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN FAKTOR-FAKTOR PRODUKSI TERHADAP USAHATANI JAGUNG (Zea Mays) DI KECAMATAN PANYABUNGAN, KABUPATEN MANDAILING NATAL, SUMATERA UTARA
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the production factors (land area, seeds, fertilizer, and labor) that affect corn farming production in Panyabungan District, Mandailing Natal Regency. The research location was determined purposively with a sample of 30 farmers. The analysis method used was multiple linear regression with the Cobb-Douglas production function model. The results showed that production factors (land area, seeds, fertilizer, and labor) simultaneously had a significant effect on corn production. Partial tests indicated that land area, seeds, and fertilizer had significant effects on corn production, while labor had no significant effect. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.939 indicates that 93.9% of the variation in corn production can be explained by the independent variables. This research is expected to serve as a reference for farmers to improve efficiency in the use of production factors for optimal yield.
