Abstract

on the income of lowland rice farming in Huta Bargot Dolok Village, Huta Bargot District, Mandailing Natal Regency. The research method used was a descriptive quantitative method with data collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The research sample consisted of 30 farmers selected using purposive sampling. The variables observed included land area, seed quantity, fertilizer use, labor, and pesticides. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the Cobb-Douglas production function model. The results showed that simultaneously, these production factors significantly affected farmers' income. Partially, land area and labor had a significant effect, while seed quantity, fertilizer, and pesticides had no significant effect. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.873 indicates that 87.3% of the variation in farmers' income can be explained by the production factors used.
