Abstract

This study aims to determine the income level and the factors that affect citrus farming in Sampuran Village, Ranto Baek District, Mandailing Natal Regency. The research was conducted using a survey method on citrus farmers in the area. Data collection was carried out through observation and direct interviews using questionnaires with 30 farmers as respondents. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and farm incomeanalysis.The results showed that the average income of citrus farmers in Sampuran Village was quite high, with an average revenue of IDR 78,540,000 per hectare per year and average production costs of IDR 29,875,000 per hectare per year, resulting in a net income of IDR 48,665,000 per hectare per year. Production factors such as land area, number of trees, labor, and fertilizer costs affect citrus farming income. This study is expected to serve as a reference for farmers to improve the efficiency of production factors in order to achieve optimal results.
