ANALISIS PERTAMBANGAN GALIAN C TERHADAP SOSIAL EKONOMI MASYARAKAT DI DESA HAJORAN KECAMATAN PADANG BOLAK, KABUPATEN PADANG LAWAS UTARA
Abstract
Hajoran Village is one of the villages that has mining potential, not only for the needs of the Padang Bolak District area, but the needs outside the Padang Bolak District can also be met. The existence of Group C excavation mining results in a process of socio-economic change for the people of Hajoran Village, leading to both positive and negative impacts. The purpose of this study is to analyze the Group C excavation mining on the socio-economic conditions of the community in Hajoran Village, Padang Bolak District, Padang Lawas Regency. This research is field research with a qualitative research type. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis, which consists of three activity flows: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the impacts arising from the Group C excavation mining in Hajoran Village include the increase of micro-businesses and minimizing the unemployment rate. The existence of mining also causes an increase in income and changes the standard of living of the community for the better. There are changes in behavior patterns in society, both positive and negative, such as income inequality, being more consumptive, post-mining natural imbalances, disruption of public road currents, health problems, and conflicts.
