Abstract

The Sustainable Food House Area (KRPL) Program is a government initiative aimed at improving household food availability, accessibility, and utilization through the sustainable use of home yards. The success of this program is heavily determined by the level of participation of the implementing groups. This study aims to analyze and measure the participation level of the Satahi Farmer Group in the implementation of the KRPL Program in Rianiante Village, Sorkam District, North Tapanuli Regency. Participation is measured using four main stages: participation in planning, participation in implementation, participation in benefit utilization, and participation in evaluation. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with a survey approach. The results indicate that the overall participation level of the Satahi Farmer Group is in the High category. The highest participation is observed in the utilization of results and implementation stages, while the lowest participation is in the planning and evaluation stages. High participation in implementation and utilization shows high farmer awareness of the direct benefits of the program. It is concluded that increasing participation needs to focus on strengthening farmers' capacity in decision-making at the beginning of the program (planning) and sustainability monitoring (evaluation).
