Abstract
This study aims to analyze the income and feasibility of chili farming in Parau Sorat Village, Sipirok District, South Tapanuli Regency. The research method used is a case study method with a census sampling technique of all 30 chili farmers. The data used consists of primary data obtained through interviews and direct observation, as well as secondary data obtained from related agencies. Data analysis was carried out descriptively quantitatively through analysis of costs, revenues, income, and farm feasibility analysis using R/C Ratio, B/C Ratio, Break Even Point (BEP), and Return on Investment (ROI). The results show that chili farming in Parau Sorat Village provides profitable income for farmers. Based on the feasibility analysis, the R/C Ratio and B/C Ratio values are greater than one, which indicates that chili farming is feasible to be cultivated. The BEP analysis shows that the level of production and income of farmers has been above the break-even point, while the ROI value indicates that the invested capital is able to provide good profits. Thus, it can be concluded that chili farming in Parau Sorat Village, Sipirok District, is economically viable and has the potential for further development to increase farmers' income.
